Is anyone going to dress up?! I really want to, but can't escape the feeling that I'll end up doing a Bridget Jones and being the only person who is!Surely the band will be - I mean, they wouldn't ask us to just so they could all point and laugh, would they...?x

It was a wonderful evening - the band were in terrific outfits, as were plenty of audience. Some sensational moustaches, I seem to recall. A beautiful venue, too, and splendidly lit. The conjurors were excellent, the music superb. It was great also to hear such a comprehensive set list. In fact, I think the only two numbers they didn't do (from those I've heard, either on record or live) were Courting Too Slow and Copshawholme Fair, making it a fitting digest of Bellowhead's achievements to date. The only upside/downside, as ever, was being reminded of their ludicrously brilliant version of If You Will Not Have Me... and bemoaning the fact that it didn't make Burlesque!

Anyway, congratulations to all involved - roll on album number two!
