Had to join just to say you guys are fantastic. Sounded great and I mean GREAT, acted the part and stood eye to eye with some of the greatest.
You have done yourself and everyone who stood with you so far, proud. Be happy and keep it up people. I love it!

Was watching Jools last night and only once before have I immediately gone to the computer to look up a band and order the album - and that was Gogol Bordello a few months ago - fantastic stuff! Listening to the tracks on myspace as we speak...

Weren't they brilliant? Two very well chosen songs, to show off all their instruments but not too 'folky' to scare people.

Jools Holland mentoned they won a R2 award for best live act without even mentioning the 'f' word. And Anthony Kiedis loved them!

(in fact Thom Yorke seemed like the 'token folky')

I'll be interested to hear how many CDs they sell on the back of this.

Did you spot the tune they played during the jam at the start?

It wizzes by quickly but you can hear it quite distinctly

Cheers

Yes I did spot that, BUT only because J&J pointed it out at both the Reading and Nettlebed last week! They where very pleased that they had been able to sneak it in at the start! Jon did go on to say that he thought it might be cut, so I think we where lucky to be able to hear it all.

Took the words right out of my mouth (or fingers as I'm typing this).

Love the albumn!

Blimey, you guys rock for a F*** 'band'. Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to see if I can find a bootleg on dime.

I really loved the performance on Jools Holland. It's great that the Chilli Peppers liked them, too. Was I just bleary eyed, or was Benji missing?
