Squeezy appeared in 'The Housnd of The Baskervilles'  on the BBC a couple of Xmases back for about ten seconds (as a melodoen player, funnily enough), though I have never seen it.

Cheers

You can see the boys (and Pete and Gid from bellowhead) on telly in episode 3 of Folk Britannia which is currently showing on BBC4 Fridays at 9pm. I believe episode 3 goes out on the 17th of Feb'.

All the best,

Kate.

A little birdie told me that Jon used to dress up in costume when he played with the Oxford Waits. Now where did he find tights with legs that long !

The Monk's outfit is not worn by anyone... it haunts the Holywell Music Rooms

So let me get this right... there is a ghostly monk going to the S&B gig tonight?

Bags me not sitting next to it! Do we know if it is a S&B fan?

The ghost was at last night's gig, disguised as a pretend Texan with a 'yee-haw' wail. The legend is that it haunts the Clerkenwell churchyard next door to the Horseshoe (which is where I first saw Jon & John almost four years ago). SatNav reveals, however, that it is, as we speak, whooshing in the general direction of an OxTube stop, Holywell-bound.

Helful, where are you? You saw it too, didn't you?

I did! It's a good job there were so many people there, safety in numbers and all that.

Delightful to make your acquaintance too Countess.

It was a sign of the times.

The 17th Century was an interesting time for Monks, all told.
