Sorry about the long-winded title! I don't know if this has been done before, but which non-folk songs would you like to hear done by Spiers and Boden? My mum saw them on the Isle of Wight, and they did Hit Me Baby One More Time, which I'd love to hear, but on the radio the other day I heard This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us by Sparks, and I thought how brilliant it would be with Jon singing. Any  ideas?

Off the top of my head, I would say, 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' by Elton John and Kiki Dee.  But seriously, 'Song 2' by Blur would be interesting.

I've had Song 2 in my head all day - for no apparent reason. It would be great, I wonder how they'd do it? I can imagine it done by Bellowhead!

This may be a bit left field. But almost anything by Kevin Coyne. I think he is Britains most overlooked genius and needs a fantastic cover to bring him to peoples attention ( even if it is too late for him).

This is a good post my telepathic friend.  Instrumentally, Bellowhead would give it some wellie.  I can hear a fiddle or two on the 'wahoo's don't cha think?'

The audience could do the "Wa-hoo" bits - a sing-along song! (Speaking of which, I was listening to Bold Sir Rylas on my MP3 player on the bus the other day, and I had to be really careful not to join in. I'm sure that one day I'll burst into song in public. So if you ever hear some nutter singing "All along and down a lea...", it's probably me!
