So, another conversation in the house of Firebird and Betty...

Certain songs have already become anthems for us, not in the 'this is a cracking song' sense, but more the 'oh how true, that is my life' way.

So, what are yours?

I definitely have Courting too Slow, and Go and Leave Me (yes, *sob*), and Flash Company (it's Firebird82 I tell ya!)

Darn those spotted pigs, they just get everywhere don't they!



For me, I think it would have to be the slightly manic depressiveness of London Town. Not that I'm manic depressive, but it just seems to fit (and not that I've ever thieved from a prostitute you understand..)



Now if you're just talking cracking songs, then I'm afraid I really can't choose - I thought I'd be able to, but I'm stuck here in complete indecision with a list of about 10!! Though I have been listening to the Jiggery Pokerwork set all day, and the Sportsman's Hornpipe. And the Rochdale Coconut Dance. And Jack Robinson. Noticing a tune theme here...I'll stop now shall I?
