Yeah, I've had the tickets for months! It should be a really great gig.

Thanks J&J for an outstanding gig as always at Nettlebed last night, I really enjoyed it. But seriously you must have the patience of a saint, how you managed to played the whole gig with out telling that person in the front row where to stick his paper I have no idea. I could not believe how rude he was  and how he didn't take the hints! I knew I should have elbowed him in the ribs the second time he ignored you!

Anyway it was great, I loved it and please do it again soon!

It really was a great night- thank you John and Jon! And a pox on the man with the newspaper! And I love Captain Ward - how on earth do you get time to learn new material? Does one of you drive while the other learns their bit?

I heard Captain Ward & The Rainbow at its first outing at the Spitz in September. Jon said he'd learned it driving down on the M1 and John at the soundcheck. I suspect just a teeny bit of showing off and a secret rehearsal might have occurred somewhere . . .

But it's a great song.
